- High-Strength Jaws: Made of 65Mn steel, the jaws apply even pressure during crimping to help the copper ring compress more evenly around the pipe. The polished jaw surface helps reduce scratches and deformation on the ring, which helps create a tighter seal and lowers the risk of leaks.
- Adjustable Crimping Force: The adjustment dial allows you to control crimping force based on your needs. A higher number means greater crimping force. The tool is pre-calibrated before leaving the factory, and the included Go/No-Go gauge helps you make further adjustments when needed.
- Meets ASTM F1807 Standard: This PEX crimping tool meets ASTM F1807 standards and is designed for use with PEX-B tubing, copper crimp rings, and PEX fittings made to the same standard. It helps create proper crimps, improve sealing performance, and reduce the risk of loose connections or leaks after installation.
- Easy To Use: Simply cut the pipe with a pipe cutter, place the copper crimp ring on the pipe, crimp it with the tool, and then check the crimping result with the included gauge. If the crimp passes the “Go” test, the connection is properly secured. If it falls into the “No-Go” range, please adjust the crimping force and crimp again.
